Adult Inpatient Psychiatry Locum | Western NY

Medicus is collaborating with a hospital in western New York seeking a Psychiatrist to provide Adult Inpatient coverage.

Opportunity details:

• 6-months of teaching unit support
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
• Offsite weekend call shifts required, 1:3 rotation
• Daily census: 11 patients
• 56-bed adult inpatient unit, 22-bed teaching unit
• EMR: Epic
• Patient diagnosis: acute – suicidal, psychotic, dual diagnosis
• 1 MD, 2 Residents, 1 med student on rotation. Nursing, social work, pharma support
• Paid travel and expenses
• Must be board-certified
