Cardiac Anesthesiologist Opening in Northwest VT | Level I Trauma Center

A medical center in northwestern Vermont has an opening for a Cardiac Anesthesiologist to assist their team.

About the Opening:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-5p, with one late day per week on call
• Call: 1:6 home call rotation
• Level I Trauma Center
• Setting: Operating room
• Case Volume: 1-2 procedures per day
• Cases: On and off-pump CABG, valve repair and replacement, cath lab, and vascular procedures
• Required Procedures: General anesthesia, intubation, IV placement, spinal, epidural for post-op pain (not OB), arterial line, central line, pulmonary artery catheter placement, and diagnostic TEE
• Support Staff: Anesthesia tech, patient support assistant, CRNA, AA
• Mix of solo cases and resident supervision
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified or board-eligible
• Paid travel & expenses
