Opportunity Details

Medicus has partnered with a hospital in western Washington with an opening for a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage.


Opening Overview:

  • Schedule: 24-hour call shifts (1-2 weekdays & weekends)
  • Setting: Clinic 5% and hospital 95%
  • Patient Volume: 5-10 per day (0-3 admissions, 2-7 ICU, & 1-2 surgeries)
  • Adults only
  • Required Procedures: General CV/thoracic surgery (open), coronary artery bypass surgery (on pump), and valvular repair/replacement
  • Support Staff: RN navigators, MAs, physicians, APPs
  • EMR: Epic
  • Travel: Paid travel expenses are included

This is a long-term opportunity in a hospital setting located in a scenic area, offering views of the water and nearby mountains.
