Cardiovascular ICU APP Opportunity in St. Louis, MO - 7 On/ 7 Off

Medicus has partnered with a hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, with an opening for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage in the cardiovascular intensive care unit.

Opening Details:

• Schedule: 7 on/7 off, 12-13 hour shifts
• Call shifts required
• Cases Seen: Patients requiring mechanical circulatory support, ICU patients, post cardiac surgery - CABG, structural heart, aortic dissections, no transplants
• Procedures Required: Central line/arterial lines/chest tubes, rare intubation, rare thoracentesis
• Patient Ages: Adult, 18+
• Patients per Day: 10-14
• Support Staff: Intesivist, cardiac surgeon on call
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
