Medicus has partnered with a hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, with an opening for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide Cardiovascular Surgery locum tenens coverage.

About the Opening:

  • Schedule: 24-hour call, specific dates
  • Daily Volume: 30 patients
  • Procedures Required: First assist on CABG, valve, aortic, and thoracic cases, including EVH/saphenous vein harvesting
  • Radial artery harvesting and endoscopic vein harvesting preferred
  • Full subspecialty support
  • EMR: Meditech, Patient Keeper, and eCW
  • Must be board-certified or board-eligible
  • ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
  • Paid travel & expenses
