Opportunity Details

Medicus is collaborating with a hospital 20 minutes from Phoenix, Arizona, with an opening for a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to provide locum coverage.


Opening Highlights:

  • Level I Trauma
  • Schedule: 24-hour call shifts
  • Facility has 2 CVORs, 20 CVICU beds
  • Required Procedures: CABG, valve surgery (AVR, MVR, TAVR), ECMO, emergent post-PCI, aortic dissections, chest exploration/re-entry/post-operative bleeding management, etc.
  • Will work closely with the ICU team, cardiology, interventional cardiology, anesthesia, APPs, perfusionists, and OR staff
  • EMR: Cerner and iMed
  • Must be board-certified
  • Paid travel & expenses
