Optimum has an opening for an Emergency Medicine Medical Director to join the team at a hospital less than 30 minutes from Indianapolis, Indiana.


Lead and shape an emergency medicine team of physicians, APPs, and nurses at a respected department near Indianapolis.


About the Position:

  • Schedule: 1,536 hours per year
  • No call requirement
  • Annual Volume: 45-50K patients
  • Lots of geriatrics with increasing acuity levels
  • 60% clinical, 40% administrative
  • No trauma cases
  • CVU, vertical care space, observation unit, and fast-track
  • Will supervise physicians, APPs, and nurses
  • Must be board-certified or board-eligible
