Medicus has partnered with established facilities in northern Illinois that have exclusive openings for General and Cardiac Anesthesiologists to provide locum tenens coverage. 


These opportunities offer flexible schedules, competitive pay rates, and covered travel expenses.


Facility One -

L&D Opportunity Details: 

  • Level III NICU
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • Shift Information: 24-hour in-house call
  • Annual Deliveries: ~3k
  • Case Types: High-Risk OB 
  • Will place epidurals
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be board-certified
  • Paid travel and expenses

Cath/Cardiac Opportunity Details:

  • Tramua Level II
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • Shift Information: 7a-5p
  • Cases Per Month: ~300
  • Responsibilities: Perform cardiac testing
  • Procedures Required: TAVR, Blasions
  • TEE certification preferred
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be board-certified
  • Paid travel and expenses

GI Opportunity Details:

  • Tramua Level II
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • Shift Information: 7a-4p or 4p-7a
  • Call shifts available
  • Responsibilities: GI cases, cover IONs/Bronchs, and some Radiology MRIs
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be board-certified
  • Paid travel and expenses

Facility Two-

General Opportunity Details:

  • Tramua Level II
  • Schedule: 4-day workweek
  • Shift Information: 7:30a-4p
  • Mainly robotics on hernias and gall bladders
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be board-certified
  • Paid travel and expenses
