A hospital in south-central Colorado had an opening for a General Surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage.

About the Opening:

  • Trauma Level IV
  • Schedule: 24-hour call coverage, 7a-7a, specific dates
  • Daily Census: 0-1 surgical patients
  • Patient Population: Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Duties: ED call coverage
  • Required Procedures: Bread-and-butter cases and potential for emergent endoscopy
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be board-certified
  • ATLS required
  • BLS and DEA highly preferred
  • Paid travel & expenses
