Opportunity Details

A hospital on North Carolina's coast has an opportunity for a General Surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage.

Opportunity Details:

  • Schedule: 24-hour in-house call, specific shifts
  • Responsibilities: ED consults, manage surgical admissions, round on existing patients, discharges, etc.
  • Daily Census: 5-10 surgical patients
  • Case Mix: Primarily bread-and-butter cases, appendectomies, cholecystectomies, GI bleeds, general ED surgical consults
  • Must be comfortable performing upper and lower endoscopy
  • Must be board-eligible or board-certified
  • Paid travel & expenses
