Opportunity Details

Medicus is partnering with a hospital in central Arkansas with an opening for a skilled Psychiatrist to provide short-term locum coverage.


Opening Highlights:

  • Shifts: 24-hour call
  • Schedule: Clinic Monday-Friday (8a-5p) and beeper call on weeknights/weekends
  • Daily Volume: 8-16 patients, 4-7 admissions/consults
  • Patient Population: Ages 55+
  • Setting: Inpatient, 14-bed geriatric psychiatric floor
  • Duties: Evaluations and treatment, consults on the floor and in the ED, and admissions
  • Support Staff: APRN, nurses, case management, and Hospitalist
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be board-certified
  • Paid travel & expenses
