Opportunity Details

Medicus has partnered with a cancer center in western South Carolina that has an opportunity for a Hematology Oncology Nurse Practitioner to provide locum coverage.


Opportunity Details:

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30a-4:30p
  • Rotating overnight and weekend call shifts
  • Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
  • Daily Volume: 15 outpatients, 20 inpatients
  • Patient Population: Adult and geriatric
  • Caseload: 65% benign hematology, 35% malignant oncology
  • Duties: Bone marrow transplant management, blood bank, ordering tests and images, prescribing medications, etc.
  • Team Structure: 8 physicians, 4 APPs
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be board-certified
  • Paid travel & expenses
