Medicus is partnering with a reputable hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, with an opening for a Gastroenterologist to provide locum coverage.


About the Opening:

  • Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, 7 on/7 off
  • Setting: Inpatient
  • Patient Volume: 10-20 per day, 10 admissions per night
  • Duties: Bread & butter inpatient GI, ED call, consultations, and procedures
  • Required Procedures: ERCP and bread & butter endo
  • Support Staff: 3 inpatient APPs
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be board-certified or board-eligible
  • Paid travel & expenses
