Opportunity Details

Medicus has partnered with a hospital in southern South Carolina with an opening for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide inpatient Pediatrics coverage.


Opening Overview:

  • Schedule: 8a-5p with callback after 5p, specific dates
  • Daily Volume: ~6-8 patients, ~3-4 admissions and discharges
  • Required Bedside Procedures: Neonatal resuscitation, PIV placement, arterial sticks, umbilical line placement, endotracheal intubation, needle thoracostomy, chest tube placement, lumbar puncture, etc.
  • No circumcisions required
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be board-certified
  • Paid travel & expenses

During your time off, paddle calm tidal creeks and rivers, walk quiet nature trails, and take easy day trips to nearby beaches, historic towns, and barrier islands.
