Locum Family Medicine Physician in Eastern VA | No Call Shifts

Medicus is partnering with a clinic in eastern Virginia, seeking a Family Medicine physician to provide locum coverage.

About the Opening:

• Schedule: Monday-Thursday (7a-4p), Friday (7a-11a)
• No call shifts required
• Skills Required: General primary care functions, follow-up on chronic conditions, lab & diagnostic procedure ordering, pain management, ability to initiate plan of care, laceration repair/incision/drainage, order prescriptions
• Skills Preferred: Pap Smears
• 18-23 patients per day
• Patient Population: Majority ages 65+
• EMR: Epic
• Current Staff: 1.8 MDs, 5.6NPs
• Locum MDs are required to provide supervisory to the APPs
• Must be board-certified
• Complimentary travel & lodging
