An established medical center in north-central Iowa has an opening for a Hematologist-Oncologist to provide locum coverage.
Opening Details:
- Level III trauma
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday
- In-house call, 1:4
- 50% Hem/ 50% Onc
- Required Procedures: Management of VAD/CV catheters & intrathecal chemo
- Required Duties: Participation on a tumor board, order tests, order images, prescribes
- Patient Population: Adults & geriatric
- Daily Volume: 12-16 patients
- Nurse administers chemo according to the orders from the physician
- 2 radiation oncologists + 4 APPs
- EMR: Mosaiq
- Board certification required
- Paid travel and lodging
