A hospital 30 minutes from Phoenix, Arizona, has an opportunity for a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage.

Opportunity Details:

• Level I Trauma
• Shift Type: 24-hour call shifts
• Patient Population: High acuity
• 2 CVORs, 20-bed CVICU
• Duties: Provide management for cardiothoracic surgery patients across the continuum of care, deliver surgical coverage, consults, daily rounding, and on-call duties
• Support Staff: ICU team, cardiology, interventional cardiology, anesthesia, APPs, perfusionists, and OR staff
• Procedures Required: CABG, valve surgery, ECMO, emergent post-PCI, Type A aortic dissections, chest exploration/re-entry/postoperative bleeding management, temporary mechanical circulatory support management, TAVR
• EMR: Cerner + iMed
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses included
