Medicus has partnered with hospitals one hour from Chicago, Illinois, that have openings for a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum tenens coverage.

Opening Highlights:

  • Level II Trauma Center
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday (7a-5p)
  • No call requirement
  • Setting: Inpatient
  • Patient Census: 15 per day, 5-7 new consults
  • Duties: Rounding on new and remaining patients, plan discharges, continue care plans, prep for procedures, etc.
  • Support Staff: GI Hospitalist
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be board-certified
  • Paid travel & expenses
