Opportunity Details

Medicus has partnered with a hospital in central Virginia that has an opportunity for a Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to provide locum coverage.


Opportunity Details:

  • Flexible schedule
  • Setting: Inpatient & outpatient
  • Level III Nursery
  • 3 exam rooms and ultrasound onsite
  • Patient Volume: 27 per day
  • Patient Population: 95% high-risk, 5% low-risk
  • Support Staff: NP, RN clinic educator, sonographer, genetic counselor, front office team 
  • EMR: Epic, Viewpoint 
  • Must be board-certified or board-eligible
  • Paid travel & expenses

During your time off, bike a connected trail network, hike forested trails along river bluffs, and walk cobblestone streets and canals in a historic riverfront district.
