Medicus has partnered with a hospital located one hour from Indianapolis, Indiana, that has an opening for an OB/GYN physician to provide locum tenens coverage.

Opening Details:

  • Level III Trauma Center
  • Schedule: Monday-Thursday (7p-7a) + 24-hour weekend shifts
  • In-house call coverage
  • Daily Volume: 10 patients, 5 admissions
  • Annual Deliveries: 1,600
  • Responsibilities: Manage OB/GYN patients, deliveries, admissions, inpatient care, and ED consults
  • Required Procedures: C-sections, amniocentesis, laceration repair, and gynecologic surgery
  • OB ultrasound interpretation preferred
  • Support Staff: APPs and midwife
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Must be board-certified
  • ABLS required
  • Paid travel & expenses
