A hospital on California's central coast has an opportunity for an OB/GYN to provide locum tenens coverage. 


About the Opportunity:

  • 8a-8p, 24-hour in-house call
  • NICU Level III
  • Patient Demographic: Mostly low-risk, underserved populations
  • Bilingual providers preferred
  • Average Monthly Volume: 60-65 deliveries, with 25-30% C-section rate
  • Required Procedures: Vaginal deliveries and C-sections (assist required)
  • Support Staff: Ultrasonographer and 24/7 anesthesia coverage (10 MDs)
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Must be board-certified or board-eligible 
  • Additional Required Certifications: DEA, BLS, ACLS
  • Paid travel & expenses
