A facility in eastern Kentucky has an opening for a Psychiatrist to provide locum tenens coverage.


About the Opening:

  • Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off, Monday-Sunday
  • On-Site Hours: 8a-4p
  • Setting: Inpatient
  • Daily Volume: 12-14 patients
  • Average Length of Stay: 5-7 days
  • Patient Population: Adults
  • Duties: Round daily on inpatients and take call evenings/nights.
  • Support Staff: RNs, LPNs, mental health techs, activity/recreation therapists
  • Must be board-certified
  • DEA required
  • Paid travel and expenses

During your time off, fish in nearby rivers known for bass and catfish, hike forested trails with beautiful seasonal views, or try authentic Appalachian comfort food at local eateries.
