Locum Tenens Trauma Surgery Opportunity in Western NC

Medicus has partnered with a hospital in western North Carolina with an opportunity for a Trauma Surgeon to provide locum coverage.

Opportunity Details:

• Schedule: 12 or 24-hour shifts
• Patient Volume: 35 per day, split between providers
• Must be proficient with tube thoracostomy, central venous catheter placement, and arterial line placement
• Support Staff: Surgeons, APPs, and residents
• EMR: Cerner PowerChart
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses

During your time off, hike in the surrounding national forest, visit a folk art center, and soak in natural hot springs along a scenic river gorge.
