Neonatology Contract Assignment on the Coast of NC | 7 On/7 Off

Opportunity Details

Medicus has partnered with a hospital on the coast of North Carolina with a contract assignment for a Neonatologist to assist their team.


Assignment Details:

  • Level IIB NICU
  • Schedule: 7 on/7 off
  • Call Shifts: Weeknights (3p-7a) or weekends (11a-7a)
  • Required Procedures: Sedation, endotracheal intubation, routine and arterial phlebotomy, central/arterial/umbilical line placement, lumbar puncture, suprapubic bladder tap, bladder catheterization, needle thoracentesis, chest tube placement, and circumcision
  • Will request and interpret labs, ECGs, radiographic studies, etc.
  • Outpatient well-baby visits and NICU follow-ups required
  • Will teach residents and students
  • Must be board-certified or board-eligible
  • Paid travel & expenses
