OB/GYN Locum Tenens Opportunity in Northern IL

Opportunity Details

Medicus has partnered with a clinic in northern Illinois that has an opportunity for a skilled OB/GYN physician to provide locum coverage.


Opportunity Details:

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
  • 6 call shifts per month
  • Setting: Outpatient clinic
  • Daily Census: 24-30 per shift
  • Delivery Volume: Just under 1K annually
  • Duties: Clinic, GYN surgery, and OB/GYN call
  • Required GYN Procedures: Hysterectomies, ectopic, DNC, ovarian torsion (while covering ER); no complex GYN required
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be board-certified or board-eligible
  • Paid travel & expenses

During your time off, browse local boutiques and family-owned businesses, visit nearby forest preserves for hiking, and explore nearby larger cities and regional attractions.
