Medicus is partnering with a medical center in Des Moines, Iowa, with an opening for a skilled OB Hospitalist to provide locum coverage.


Opening Highlights:

  • Schedule: 24-hour in-house call shifts, 7a-7a
  • Setting: 8-bed OBED
  • Annual Volume: ~1,390 OBED visits, ~460 deliveries
  • Duties: OBED visits, emergent deliveries, and patients without a primary OB/GYN; no GYN duties
  • Support Staff: MFM on call, residents
  • Imaging, lab, and pharmacy onsite
  • EMR: Epic
  • Board certification required
  • Paid travel & expenses
