Primary Care Contract Assignment in Northern WV

Medicus has partnered with a clinic in northern West Virginia that has a contract assignment for a Family Medicine physician to assist their team.

Assignment Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, between 6a-6p
• No call requirement
• Patient Volume: 8 per day
• Patient Population: Inmates
• Duties: Comprehensive assessment and management of acute and chronic health problems
• Must perform minor surgical procedures, such as incision and drainage, suturing of lacerations, cyst removal, and removal/repair of ingrown toenails
• Any active, unrestricted U.S. license accepted
• Paid travel & expenses

During your time off, hike forest trails in nearby state parks, enjoy stargazing under dark rural skies, and explore a spectacular underground cave system.
