Medicus has partnered with a clinic in central Massachusetts with an opening for a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider to provide locum tenens coverage.
About the Opening:
- Schedule:4–5 days/week (24 hours total)
- Setting: Community and outpatient
- Weekly Volume: 10-25 patients depending on client needs, transitions, and acuity
- Patient Population: Adults with serious mental illness
- Duties: Conduct psychiatric evaluations, manage medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary PACT team on treatment planning.
- Case Types: Primarily psychotic disorders, including high-acuity individuals requiring intensive community support across all stages of treatment, stabilization, and recovery.
- EMR: CareLogic
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible
- Additional Certifications: DEA and CSR
- Paid travel & expenses
