Psychiatry Locum Tenens Opportunity in Eastern ID | 7 On/7 Off

Medicus is collaborating with a medical center in eastern Idaho that has an opportunity for a Psychiatrist to provide locum coverage.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts with overnight call, 7 on/7 off
• Will cover consults, new admissions, discharges, and emergencies
• 2 inpatient adult psychiatric units totaling 37 beds
• Patient Census: Rounding on 15-18 per day
• Average LOS: 5-7 days
• Team Structure: 2 physicians, 2-3 residents
• EMR: Meditech
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses

During your time off, check out a local zoo that focuses on regional wildlife and conservation, visit a historic downtown area, and take a short drive to nearby sand dunes for hiking or off-roading.
