Rural Family Medicine Leadership Position in Maryland

Optimum has partnered with a leading Maryland health system that has an opening for a Family Medicine physician to join their team in a leadership role as part of the Rural Health Transformation Program/Maryland Area Health Education Center Program.

This position lets you play a pivotal role in increasing access to preventive care for rural communities across Maryland while still enjoying clinical practice.

About the Position:

  • Schedule: 8a-5p, 2 clinical days and 3 leadership/outreach days per week
  • Patient Volume: 19-20 per day
  • Will visit rural family medicine practices across Maryland
  • Will also serve as Assistant Clerkship Director for the Family Medicine Clerkship
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be board-certified
