Medicus has partnered with a leading facility in eastern North Carolina that has an opening for a Cardiovascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage.

About the Opening:

• Schedule: 6:30a-7p or 6:30p-7a
• Setting: 16-bed cardiovascular ICU
• Required Procedures: Central and arterial lines, chest tube placement and removal, thoracentesis, intra-aortic balloon pump removal, Swan-Ganz placement, bronchoscopy, pacing wire removal, and feeding tube placement
• Team Structure: 5 academic intensivists and 6 APPs
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
