Medical Oncology Locum Tenens Role 1 Hour From Milwaukee, WI

Medicus has partnered with facilities located one hour from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with openings for a Medical Oncologist to provide locum tenens coverage.

Opening Overview:

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
  • Rotating weekend call coverage
  • Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
  • Daily Inpatient Volume: 2 patients
  • Daily Outpatient Volume: 15-20 patients
  • Case Types: 85% oncology and 15% hematology
  • Duties: Chemotherapy, management of oncologic emergencies, round on inpatients, supervise APPs, conduct outpatient consults and follow-ups, and participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary case reviews
  • Support Staff: 3 physicians, 2 APPs, 1 RN, oncology pharmacist, nurse navigator, radiation therapists, palliative support, etc.
  • Must be board-certified
  • BLS required
  • Paid travel & expenses
