Medicus is collaborating with a medical center in eastern Iowa with an opportunity for a Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to provide locum coverage.
About the Opening:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-5p
- Call Ratio: 1:4
- Average Daily Census: 18 ICU patients, 10 non-ICU inpatients, 2-5 admissions
- 20 beds in the ICU unit
- Trauma Level III
- Average of 18 ICU patients per day
- Procedures required: A & C lines, Thora- & Paracentesis, Tubes, Bronchs, PFT, EBUS
- EMR: Cerner
- Supervision required of NP/PA support in ICU and hospital as well as LTAC
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & lodging
